Rodeo

Hinckley Dodge was one of the sponsors for the Rodeo in Ogden, so Travis got some free tickets for Monday night. This was my first time to a rodeo and I had a GREAT time! It was a lot of fun! The rodeo started out with a few sky divers coming into the field, and the last one had the American flag, it was pretty incredible!

Going to the Lake

Many of you may remember our trip to the lake last year... To refresh you memory, go here. Anyway, we went to Pine View Reservoir last Saturday, I love that it's only 20 minutes away to our special spot by the lake. (Our free spot) It took Max awhile to get used to the lake, but after a while he quite enjoyed himself...

The yellow tube is supposed to be for Max because it has straps to hold him up, but Max hates it, and Elora loves it! So go figure...
The water level was soooo much higher than last year. This is the tree that we sat in front of last year, but this time we had to sit behind it.

I had to add this one on here, this was the next day on Sunday. I gave a sharing time lesson on missionary work, and asked Travis to find his missionary name tag, so he found it, and then sent Max up to me with it... I was like, well, hello...."Elder" Gough! So handsome....

New Dress

I've been meaning to post this, but I finally got a new dress! It was actually right before Father's Day. I like to say that it was Travis' Father's Day present because he gets to see me in it. :) But yeah, the last dress I got before this one was a maternity one when I was pregnant with Max, and the last one before that was in my second year of college... So it's been a long time since I got a new dress. I love this one! I couldn't believe that it was long enough, had sleeves, and didn't have a low neck. So very modest, but I love it!

Cutting Hair

Max's hair was getting very long, so I decided to use the clippers to cut his hair. This was the first time I cut his hair this way. He did pretty good for the first part, but then didn't want any more of it! But I had to finish!

After- Here's the finished haircut. I think Max is officially a little boy now, and not a baby. He looks so handsome and grown-up!
Travis cut his hair a few days before, so now they REALLY look alike! I didn't think it was possible for them to look any MORE alike.
The next night, I trimmed Elora's hair. It was the first time I cut a girl's hair. I think I did pretty good considering she wouldn't hold still! So I think it's even... but it's a good thing she's 2 and doesn't care, and that it's curly, so you really couldn't tell if it was just a little uneven...

What A Week!

Well the week started off with Travis' oldest brother, Dan, and family staying with us for two nights. So we had 4 adults and 7 kids all in our apartment. It was noisier than usual, but it was a lot of fun! I'm glad that we could just say to the kids, "Go play in the basement."

On Thursday before the 4th we drove up to Bedford, Wyoming to go camping for a Gough family reunion. This is a view on the way up. It was beautiful!

On the morning of the fourth, we went to a little parade that came back again, so we saw it twice. Max quite enjoyed himself:
Our group had a ton of kids there!
Elora didn't want to get off her chair very often, so she didn't get as much candy, but she didn't know the difference, she was having a great time!
We stayed in Wyoming until Sunday, got home and vegged, and then went to the Zoo the next day in Salt Lake for my niece, Emma's birthday!
