Happy Birthday Cynthia! Big 26!

It has been 26 years for the beautiful girl named Cynthia Seegmiller to enter the world, and come to her parents, which JOYFULLY, they are present here today. We actually picked them up from the airport Saturday night. So the first Happy Birthday for her was to see her parents.

Cynthia was born in New York, moved to Maine, then to Singapore. All this moving was done in the first 12 years of her life. She moved to St. George in her 12th year, but I didn't exactly meet her till 9th grade. Even though we were in the same stake and school, and in 9th grade she secretly had her eye on me, I never understood why, and I still don't know what possesed her to continue to want to be around me as we went through high school together. Either way, I am very grateful to her that she did, for I would not know the joy of life if I were not with her. Cynthia agreed to marry me and now Cynthia Gough is for eternity my wife.

To this day I have not been able to repay her long missed birthday presents, and thank her for the support and love she has given to me as I have fulfilled a full-time job, with a full-time school schedule, which drives me crazy, but she has been one to get my schedules and calendars together to keep me on track. Honestly, I would be lost without her.

Most of all, Cynthia is one of a kind, when she sets her mind on something it does not change and she does what it takes to get what she desires; which I wish I had that. Her desire to follow the prophet and be debt free is one of those accomplishments. Thanks to her we have been debt free for two years now. Another accomplishment is her child birthing capabilities. Her desire to have the most beautiful births and have complete control of pressure and feelings is and has been a desire of hers. She has brought the two most beautiful children into this world, and has loved every moment of it. Stressful? Yes, but ever so rewarding.

I love Cynthia so much, her blessing in my life is innumerable, and I don't thank her enough for loving me. She helps Elora and Max grow so well, her house keeping abilities are wonderful, and she is a magnificent cook. I love her meals.

My accomplishments with her is more her credit than mine, even with my job successes. I have so much more things to write for Cynthia, but I really want her to know is...

Cynthia, I love you and hope you have a Happy Birthday.

All In The Same Town Again...

Over a week ago, we headed down to St. George to see Travis' brother who recently returned from his mission to Anaheim, California -Spanish speaking. We also went to my cousin, Camarie's wedding. (Although I didn't get any pictures) But it was a really fun weekend and we were really sad to leave St. George.

And that means.... DOG PILE!!!

And now for some unexpected and exciting news..... We're moving to St. George!!!!! We've known for a little while (maybe a month) that we'd probably move to St. George someday, but we thought we might wait a year or so... But when we were driving back up to Ogden over a week ago, we felt really sad to leave St. George. That we were leaving our home, and also we felt that it was the place that we needed to be as soon as possible. I mean, if we're supposed to do something, why wait?

So during the week, I was browsing online at rental prices, and everything seemed a little too high... (We're used to Ogden rental prices) But then.... I found an apartment! It looked like it was too good to be true! But it had pictures, and it was three bedrooms, and it looked decent. And I just had a good feeling about it. So I called them, and they said that they could only hold it for two weeks after we paid the deposit. She also said that they would only give it to us if Travis had a job offer in St. George. Well, so we prayed about it, we went to the temple together on Thursday. We got our answer, and just felt good about everything. And Travis called his old work and they offered him a job. And so we took another trip down to St. George this past weekend. We left at 4:00 am Saturday morning, and made it to our 10:00am apointment to look at the apartment. Well, we loved it, and love the area, so we took it. We're moving in Easter weekend!!! I will live in it, while Travis will come back to Ogden to stay for the last three weeks of the semester until graduation. In the meantime he will also see what other job opportunities he can find so he can take the best option.

So, after we looked at the apartment, we went and surprised Travis' family with the news. (They had no idea!) Of course they were ecstatic! And I got the biggest, tightest hug ever from my mother in law. So after two years of Dallas on his mission, and two years of us being in Ogden. All of Travis' 7 siblings and us and Travis' parents will be back in the same town again... That is a pretty rare thing now a days to have everyone in the family live in the same town, especially when there's eight kids involved! But we are excited! Now I just have to get packing and cleaning...

These were taken two weeks ago, after it snowed. And Travis was able to build a snowman with the kids because it was spring break... Snow on spring break... go figure...

The Day After...

Ok, so you're probably tired of seeing pictures of me... You're most likely thinking, "You again? Get back to pictures of the kids! They're much cuter!" But I had to throw in a few more pictures of my hair. This is me the day after I washed my hair... I knew my hair always looked better the day after I wash it... Well, here ya go! This is much nicer! My hair is not as "flooffy" (As Travis has called it...) So it's flatter, the curls are more relaxed, and I just brushed it to curl under. (Except for the back, my hair has a mind of it's own back there...) But I like it!

I Got a Haircut...

I hardly ever did my hair, it was mostly always up in a "messy bun." And when I did do it, it took too much effort, and then it didn't look that great anyway.... So... I decided to get my haircut! I cut 10 inches off so I could donate it to Locks Of Love.

I love it when it's curly, and so easy! Today I tried it straight... I wasn't sure how I should do it, so I curled it out... What do you think? Some might say, why don't I just do it straight all the way... well, my hair doesn't go straight. It desperately wants to curl under, out, or sideways...

I don't know... I think my hair is just too thick to do straight...

I Got a New Outfit!

I hardly ever get new clothes, so this is a big deal for me! I reached my first weight loss goal, 10 lbs!!! So as a reward, I treated myself to getting a new outfit. I still have more to lose, but it's nice to get incentive a long the way...
